The tournament was cut short, but that only added to the many talking points from the fifth edition of the event.
Peshawar Zalmi won the PSL in 2017 before losing the final in 2018 and 2019. Multan Sultans, on the other hand, are in the semi-final for the first time.
Multan will look to continue making history by reaching their first PSL final.
Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, and Quetta Gladiators are now competing for the two remaining semi-final spots. Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings have already qualified, while Islamabad United have been eliminated.
A win will see the Qalandars through to the semi-finals. In case of a defeat, they will have to back the Kings to defeat the Gladiators.
Multan Sultans are the only side to have qualified for the top four so far. The five other teams are eyeing three spots.
After a low-scoring encounter, it’s the bowling charts that sizzled in PSL 2020.
