KL Rahul‘s 47-ball 52 against Rajasthan Royals took his tally in IPL 2019 to 387 runs. Rahul is 13 short of David Warner of Sunrisers Hyderabad, current holder of the Orange Cap. However, Warner will get a chance to increase his lead during tomorrow’s match against Chennai Super Kings.

Chris Gayle, Rahul’s opening partner at Kings XI Punjab, also crossed the 350-mark last night thanks to his 22-ball 30, while Jos Buttler’s 17-ball 23 pushed him to fifth spot.
