The win against England earlier this week had helped Australia become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2019 World Cup. However, India, a point behind them, still have a match in hand in the league phase. Let us see what each team needs to do to qualify from here.

Australia: Having already qualified, they will look to secure top spot to ensure they can play the fourth-ranked side. However, even two wins will not ensure that: they will need India to lose.

India: They need a point (a washout or a tie) to qualify for the semi-finals. Three wins will help them top the table, and even anything less will still make them a likely candidate.

New Zealand: Like India, they need a point to qualify. However, they will miss out on the top spot if they lose to Australia.

England: Wins against both India and New Zealand will do it. One win will mean they will have to hope that whoever wins in the PakistanBangladesh match loses their other match.

Bangladesh: If England win both they will have to back Australia to beat New Zealand. If England win one they have to beat both. Generally, they have to win the Bangladesh vs Pakistan clash.

Pakistan: Same as Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka: Win both matches. Hope England to lose both matches and whoever wins Pakistan vs Bangladesh to lose their other match.
If they win one it has to be by a colossal margin. They also have to hope for England to lose both matches massively and Bangladesh and Pakistan to share points.

South Africa, West Indies, and Afghanistan have been eliminated, but their matches may affect the points table. Of their remaining matches, West Indies versus Sri Lanka and Afghanistan versus Pakistan are of relevance.
