After a day’s break, four matches of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20, two each from Super League Group A and Group B, will be played on November 24 at different venues in Surat.
Super League Group A: Baroda vs Maharashtra
Baroda had beaten Karnataka in the league stage, topped the group, and have continued exactly where they had left, defeating Rajasthan comfortably before pulling off a thriller against Delhi. Maharashtra, on the other hand, were shot out by Delhi in their only match of this round.
Key players: Lukman Meriwala (Baroda), Nikhil Naik (Maharashtra)
Predicted winner: Karnataka
Super League Group A: Haryana vs Delhi
Delhi had thrashed Maharashtra in their first match before going down to Baroda by 1 run. They will face Haryana, who had won their only match, against Rajasthan, comfortably.
Key players: Harshal Patel (Haryana), Himmat Singh (Delhi)
Predicted winner: Delhi
Super League Group B: Karnataka vs Punjab
As expected, Karnataka defeated both Tamil Nadu (easily) and Jharkhand (who put up a fight), and will take field as favourites. Punjab bowled out Jharkhand for 90 in their only match of this round to win by 109 runs, but Karnataka is a sterner opposition.
Key players: Devdutt Padikkal (Karnataka), Sandeep Sharma (Punjab)
Predicted winner: Karnataka
Super League Group B: Mumbai vs Jharkhand
Mumbai have lost their only match (to Tamil Nadu) and Jharkhand both theirs (to Punjab and Karnataka); at least one of them will get off the mark here.
Key players: Shams Mulani (Mumbai), Shahbaz Nadeem (Jharkhand)
Predicted winner: Mumbai
