Only 50 balls of cricket were possible in Match 49 of IPL 2019, but they were enough for a change in the list of top run-scorers in the tournament. Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli’s blinder (25 in 7 balls) took him to joint sixth place, level with Kings XI Punjab’s Chris Gayle ahead of teammate AB de Villiers and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Jonny Bairstow.
De Villiers himself got a 4-ball 10 but that did not help his rank. Ajinkya Rahane, the only representative of Rajasthan Royals in the top ten, did not get to bat.

Yuzvendra Chahal bowled just 2 balls, but got the only Rajasthan wicket. He is currently tied on third sport, with Imran Tahir, 1 wicket behind Gopal.
