Even after Wednesday’s runfest, nobody is within eyesight of David Warner’s monstrous tally of 574 runs in IPL 2019. In fact, Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad opening partner Jonny Bairstow clung on to the second spot as well.
But there have been changes. Chris Gayle (23 in 20 balls) finished a run behind Bairstow, while Virat Kohli (13 in 8), AB de Villiers (82* in 44), and KL Rahul (42 in 27) all breached the 400-run mark.
