In the first match of Sunday’s double-header, Shikhar Dhawan of Delhi Capitals scored a 37-ball 50 to go past Jonny Bairstow and secure the second spot among run-getters in IPL 2019. Later at night, Kolkata Knight Riders’ Andre Russell‘s violent 40-ball unbeaten 80 catapulted him past Dhawan.

AB de Villiers (17 in 19) and Virat Kohli (23 in 17) of Royal Challengers Bangalore, at seventh and eighth places, are separated by only 8 runs at this stage. And Quinton de Kock of Mumbai Indians remained at ninth spot despite his duck.
