Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals had the most to cheer about as far as the Orange Cap was concerned after the latest double-header in IPL 2019.

David Warner extended his lead at the top of the run charts with a 47-ball 51 against Delhi – he now has 400 runs at a strike-rate of 140.35. Jonny Bairstow, who scored a 31-ball 41, returned to the top five with a 31-ball 41.

The last three batsmen in the top 10 were all Delhi batsmen. Shreyas Iyer was at No. 8, moving to 266 runs after scoring a 40-ball 45 against Hyderabad. Rishabh Pant, who scored a 19-ball 23 against Hyderabad, was at No.10, while Shikhar Dhawan sat between them at No. 9.

Among the bowlers, Kagiso Rabada fortified his position at the top. His 4/22 against Hyderabad meant he now has 17 wickets in IPL 2019, and is 4 wickets clear of Imran Tahir, the Chennai Super Kings leg-spinner, at No. 2.

Incidentally, Tahir also returned 4/27 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the day’s other clash, and the tally moved him to No. 2 in the wicket charts. Deepak Chahar didn’t take a wicket for Chennai in that match, but remained in the top five. Delhi’s Chris Morris, meanwhile, returned 3/22 against Hyderabad, to move up to No. 4.
