Mumbai Indians’ resounding victory over Chennai Super Kings on Friday evening had little bearing on the run-charts. Rohit Sharma scored a 48-ball 67, but he wasn’t among the top 10 run-scorers of the tournament.

The only representative from last night’s match in the run charts was Quinton de Kock – he scored a 9-ball 15, and is now just seven short of the 400-mark.

There was plenty happening among the bowlers, though. Deepak Chahar and Imran Tahir took one wicket each against Mumbai, and they are now Nos. 2 and 3 on the wicket-takers’ list, with 17 and 15 wickets respectively. Kagiso Rabada, Delhi’s pace ace, still leads the charts with 23 wickets.

Jasprit Bumrah returned an excellent 2/10 in three overs to reach 13 wickets and move up to No. 6 in the table. Further down, Lasith Malinga, with his 4/37, tallied 12 for the season, and moved into the top 10.
