Rohit Sharma shines again

India’s second innings was once again all about Rohit Sharma. He yet again hit a ton to score 127 off 149. Rohit who started his new innings as a Test opener from this match ended with flying colours. Apart from Rohit Cheteshwar Pujara scored a calculative 148-ball 81. He was in his usual good and both added 169 runs for the second wicket. Ravindra Jadeja (40 off 32), Virat Kohli (31 off 25) and Ajinkya Rahane (27 off 17) all played their part and helped India post 323/4 before the skipper declared the innings.

With a target of 395, South Africa got chance to bat for last nine overs of the day. This turned out to be tricky and the visitors were reduced to 11/1 by stumps on Day 4.

Hardik Pandya fit after surgery

Hardik Pandya is reportedly fine after a back surgery on Friday in the United Kingdom. He shared a post-surgery photo on his social media page and shared news about the same.

Later in the day, the BCCI provided  details of the surgery through a media statement.
