Chris Gayle moved up to No.2 in the IPL 2019 run charts after his 37-ball 69 against Delhi Capitals on Saturday. Quinton de Kock was the other mover in the run charts – his 47-ball 65 against Rajasthan Royals helped him to No.4 in the table.
David Warner continues to lead the charts with 450 runs – Gayle is just 29 runs behind – with KL Rahul, Gayle’s Punjab team-mate, slotting in at No.3. Virat Kohli completes the top five.
Further down, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer were placed No.7 and 8 after both scored half-centuries in Delhi’s win over Punjab. Jos Buttler missed Rajasthan’s clash against Mumbai, but was still at No.10.
