India vs West Indies 1st T20I venue: Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad

The first T20I of the 3-match series between India and West Indies will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad, the home of both Hyderabad Cricket Association and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The ground at Uppal replaced the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium, one of the earliest Indian grounds to host floodlit international matches.

The venue was supposed to host its first T20I, between India and Australia, in 2017-18, but rain prevented any play from taking place. In other words, this will be the first T20I at the ground, though it has hosted 5 Tests, 6 ODIs, and two IPL finals.
