Women’s Tests are, unfortunately, a fading concept. Only 10 Tests were played in the entire decade, of which eight were part of the Women’s Ashes. One of these was played at Taunton this year: it ended in a draw. Ellyse Perry dominated the Test with 116 and 76 not out (and 1/44), while Sophie Molineux picked up 4/95.
