October 11 will feature only four games of Vijay Hazare Trophy – one in Elite Group B and the rest in Plate Group.

Elite Group B (at Vadodara): Delhi vs Vidarbha

Only 3 of Delhi’s 6 matches were played, in which Delhi have beaten hosts (of the group) Baroda and Odisha but lost to Uttar Pradesh. They are favourites against Vidarbha, who have lost to Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, but had bowled out Haryana for 83 during their only win.

Plate Group (at Dehradun): Manipur vs Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland vs Sikkim, Uttarakhand vs Meghalaya

Neither Nagaland (2 defeats) nor Sikkim (5 defeats) is yet to win a match – a fate that will change for one of the two teams. Nagaland are favourites here.

Arunachal have won only once (in 5 decided matches, that too against last-placed Sikkim), but that is probably better than Manipur’s none in 2. Arunachal seem the better side.

Uttarakhand and Meghalaya are still in the hunt for the top spot. Ahead of Meghalaya thanks to a no-result, Uttarakhand have been the better of the two teams.
