Nitish Rana with 131 runs in two is just one of three batsmen to have crossed the three-figure mark

Nitish Rana surged to the top of the run-scorers table after his 34-ball 63 – it took his tally to 131 runs in two matches, and at this stage, he is just one of three batsmen to have crossed the three-figure mark. Robin Uthappa also is in the top three following his 50-ball 67* against Punjab on Wednesday, while Andre Russell completed the top five after his electric 17-ball 48.

Chris Gayle, who scored a 13-ball 20, remained at No.4. Mayank Agarwal and David Miller both scored half-centuries as Punjab tried to chase down Kolkata’s mammoth 218/4. Their efforts put them at No.8 and No.10 respectively on the run charts.

Among the bowlers, Russell featured once again – his 2/21 on Wednesday took him to four wickets in the tournament and No.3 in the wicket-takers charts, making him the only non-Chennai Super Kings player in the top five. 

Imran Tahir and Dwayne Bravo are above him with four wickets as well, but with better economy rates, while Ravindra Jadeja and Harbhajan Singh round-off the top five, each with three wickets.
