IPL 12 statistical round-up – May 6, 2019: Hardik favourite for MVP after Russell bows out

IPL 2019 12 Mumbai Indians MI KKR Kolkata Knight Riders

Hardik Pandya scored 39 points this week to Andre Russell‘s 26.5, which helped him bring down the difference between them to 39 in the race for the IPL 2019 MVP. But more importantly, Hardik will get at least two more matches in the tournament, while Russell will get none.

David Warner and Kagiso Rabada, Orange and Purple Cap holders, will not take part in this edition. A week’s inactivity has also knocked them out of the top five.
