IPL 12 statistical round-up – April 7, 2019: “Dre Rus” still leads MVP table but others catching up

Somewhat surprisingly, the top three names in the hunt for the Orange Cap in IPL 2019 have not changed: David Warner continues to lead the list, though his lead over Jonny Bairstow has come down significantly. Andre Russell is at third spot.

However, Russell also has 5 wickets, which means he is still at the top of the MVP Points table this time. His lead over the next cricketer – Bairstow – is 19, which is less than the lead of 24 Russell had last week.
