India vs West Indies 2nd T20I venue: Greenfield International Stadium, Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram

The second T20I of the 3-match series between India and West Indies will be played at Greenfield International Stadium, Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, the home of Kerala Cricket Association. Located outside the city, the ground is part of an enormous sports complex with facilities for cricket, football, squash, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and swimming.

The ground has hosted 2 international matches so far – an ODI (just over a year ago: where India bowled out West Indies for 104 and won by 9 wickets) and a T20I, back in 2017-18 that was reduced to 8 overs a side. Asked to bat, India had scored 67/5 that day before restricting New Zealand to 61/6 thanks largely to Jasprit Bumrah’s 2-0-9-2.
