India’s second win against South Africa Women in the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy – this time by an innings and 137 runs at Pune – pushed them to a maximum possible 200 points on the ICC Test Championship 2019-20 points table. Their lead has now extended to a whopping 140.

South Africa, on the other hand, are yet to get off the mark. In fact, they have now slipped to seventh place, for their RPW quotient (0.305) has now dropped below West Indies’ (0.411).
