India defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore to go one-up in the Ganguly-Durjoy Trophy. The second Test – the first floodlit Test for both countries as well as on Indian soil – will be commence on November 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The win also helped India increase their lead over New Zealand and Sri Lanka, who are on 60 points each. India are on 300 points, which is more than the sum of the points secured by the other teams (232).
However, with Australia set to host Pakistan, the table is likely to undergo a few changes.
