England defeated South Africa by 53 runs at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth to go 2-1 up in the Basil D’Oliveira Series. They also secured 30 points to become the third team, after India (360) and Australia (296), to reach three figures. Their current tally reads 116, some distance behind Australia.

South Africa, on the other hand, remained on 30. They are just ahead of West Indies and Bangladesh, neither of whom has got off the mark yet.
