PCB set to got o court against IMG-Reliance

A claim for damages against IMG Reliance has been filed by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Earlier this year IMG Reliance decided to call off association with the league after a terrorist attack on Indian paramilitary troopers. According to the PCB, IMG Reliance were asked to compensate for the loss the PCB incurred. Since the board did not receive any reply it decided to move to the court now. The matter is to be heard at the London Court of International Arbitration.

On Friday, the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani will brief the Board of Governors about the move and state “breach of contract by IMGR could have resulted in the remaining PSL matches not being broadcast on television; this would have severely damaged the standing and reputation of the PSL.”
