Caribbean Premier League CPL 2019

Trinbago Knight Riders recorded four consecutive victories in the Caribbean Premier League 2019. They won the 10th match of the ongoing league against Jamaica Tallawahs by 41 runs.

Batting first Trinbago scored a massive 267 for the loss of two wickets. Thanks to the run-fest by the top order- Lendl Simmons (86 off 42), Colin Munro (96* off 50), and Kieron Pollard (45* off 17) the Riders almost ensured their win in the first half of the match. In reply, Jamaica gave a good fight but were wrapped up for 226/5 eventually. Chris Gayle scored 39 runs and managed to get back to the top of the table. Simmons’s fireworks placed him at the second place followed by Kieron Pollard at the third.

James Neesham’s one wicket from the match took him to the top of the bowling table followed by Romario Shepherd and Shadab Khan at the second and third place. Mohammad Hasnain ended the match with 2/51 and move up two places to be placed at the sixth.
