CPL 2019, most runs, wickets after match 7, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots vs Jamaica Tallawahs: Gayle tops the list

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots finally registered a win in Caribbean Premier League 2019. They won the seventh match of the edition against Jamaica Tallawahs by four wickets with seven balls remaining.

Chris Gayle’s brilliant 62-ball 116 and Chadwick Walton’s 36-ball 73 helped Jamaica Tallawahs to put a massive score of 241/4. This placed Chris Gayle on the top of the table. During the chase, Devon Thomas led the team from the front and scored 71 off 40. He moved up seven places to be placed at the second position followed by Chandrapaul Hemraj and Kieron Pollard at the third and fourth position.

Fabian Allen and Alzarri Joseph scalped two wickets apiece for the Patriots but it didn’t have any impact on the bowling table. Oshane Thomas, on the other hand, ended the match with 4/53 to be placed at the sixth position.
