CPL 2019, most runs, wickets after match 4, Guyana Amazon Warriors vs St Kitts and Nevis Patriots: Hetmyer and Shadab move to top

Caribbean Premier League CPL 2019

Guyana Amazon Warriors won their second fixture of Caribbean Premier League 2019 convincingly by eight wickets. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots faced the second defeat of the season.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots batted first to set a target of 153/8 for the Warriors. Devon Thomas scored 62 off 49 and later Fabien Allen added a quick 19-ball 33. Apart from them none could contribute much with the bat. Allen and Thomas managed to be placed at fourth and fifth positions respectively. During the chase, Shimron Hetmyer scored an unbeaten 70 off 47 to win the match for the Warriors. This helped him to replace Kieron Pollard at the top of the batting table.

Shadab Khan added two more wickets to his tally and moved up three places to be placed at the top followed by James Neesham at the second. Sheldon Cottrell could manage to take scalp only one wicket in this match and moved down one place. Romario Shephard and Chris Green took one wicket apiece to jump at fifth and sixth.
