CPL 2019, most runs, wickets after Match 27, Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Trinbago Knight Riders: Green takes a leap

Guyana Amazon Warriors recorded their eighth consecutive wins of this season’s Caribbean Premier League. They beat Trinbago Knight Riders by 19 runs in the 27th match of CPL 2019.

Chandrapaul Hemraj’s 42-ball 66 and Shimron Hetmyer’s 38-ball 48 helped the Warriors put a target of 186 for the Riders. Hemraj thus placed himself among the top five batsmen as Brandon King (12) moved down one place in the list. Lendl Simmons could make only 16 runs while chasing for the Riders but put himself ahead of Brandon at the second position. Kieron Pollard (71* off 38) and Dwayne Bravo (58* off 46) kept the game on for the Riders but fell short by 19 runs eventually. Pollard made to the top ten list of batsmen after this knock again.

Chris Green finished the match with 4-0-18-2 and took a leap of four places. He is currently the second ranked bowler of the tournament followed by Imran Tahir with 10 wickets from Guyana Amazon Warriors at the seventh and his teammate Romario Shepherd at the tenth place.
