BBL 2019-20, most runs, wickets after January 30: 500 runs for Alex Hales

The eliminator between Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes saw the former winning by 57 runs. Batting first Alex Hales (60) and Usman Khawaja (54) helped the Thunder set a target of 198. D’Arcy Short ended as the highest scorer for the Hurricanes during the chase with 37 runs. Hales thus crosses the 500-run mark to become only the second batsman of the tournament to achieve the feat.
