In the final of the Big Bash league 2019-20, Josh Philippe smashed a 29-ball 52 to help Sydney Sixers post 116/5 in 12 overs. In reply, the rain-hit encounter saw the Stars managing to score 97/6 in their allotted 12 overs. Philippe thus successfully ends the tournament as the third-highest run-getter of this season.
